Section 1. Our basic policy
This policy explains how Tessera ("the App") handles user information. As a matter of principle, the App does not collect any personal information from its users.
Section 2. Information we collect
The App does not collect any personal information, such as your name, email address, account details, usage data, or location. There is no account registration or sign-in.
Section 3. Data storage
Your game progress, settings, and collection are stored only on your own device. They are not sent to or stored on any external server, and they are removed when you uninstall the App.
Section 4. External transmission, third parties, and third-party services
The App uses no advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting services of any kind. It does not send your data to any external server and does not provide or share it with third parties. It does communicate with your app store (the App Store or Google Play) to check your in-app purchase (see Section 5).
Section 5. In-app purchases
The App offers a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks every game. Payment is handled entirely by your app store (the App Store or Google Play); the App never receives your card number or any other payment details.
To check whether you own the purchase, the App asks your app store (the App Store or Google Play). This is what restores your purchase after you reinstall the App or change devices. Whether you own the purchase is also stored on your device.
Section 6. Two-player mode (Bluetooth / nearby devices)
When you play a two-player game, the App connects directly to a nearby device using Bluetooth and Wi-Fi (Google's Nearby Connections). Only the information needed for play (such as each player's moves) is exchanged, directly between the two devices. This information is never sent to or stored by the developer or any external server.
Section 7. Permissions
To find and connect to a nearby player for two-player mode, the App uses Bluetooth-related permissions. Which permissions are requested depends on your device.
On Android, a location permission is also used. Android requires it in order to detect nearby devices over Bluetooth; the App does not obtain, record, or transmit your actual location.
On iPhone and iPad, no location permission is used. Instead the App asks for Local Network access, which is needed to find a nearby device. Nothing is sent outside the two devices by this.
Section 8. Your rights
Because the App does not collect personal information, there is no personal data for us to disclose, correct, or delete. Any data stored on your device can be removed by you at any time through the App or by uninstalling it.
