1. How this app works

Tennis Stats lets you create a "group" with tennis friends and record / share match results, scores, and ratings. The data you input is shared with other people who join the same group.

2. Data we collect

2.1 Data you enter in the app

• Group name and 6-character join code
• Member names (entered by you), emoji, color, notes
• Match pairings, scores, dates, notes
• Computed values (Elo rating, win rate, highlights)

2.2 Anonymous device identifier

We obtain an automatically-generated identifier via Firebase Authentication's anonymous sign-in. We do NOT collect names, email addresses, or other personally identifiable information.

2.3 Crash reports

To investigate why the app crashed, we collect the following anonymously via Google's Firebase Crashlytics. This applies to both the Android and iPhone versions.

• General technical info such as OS version and device model
• App crash logs

We do NOT collect usage statistics. The component that gathered them (Firebase Analytics, e.g. which screens are opened most often) was removed in version 0.1.10 in August 2026.
