Fumilog uses GPS to record the places you have walked and paints them onto a map as cells.
Location data is collected in the background — even when the app is closed — because painting cells on the map is the app's core feature. You can stop recording at any time from Settings.
The app handles the following data, and all of it is stored on your device only:
This data stays on your device until you delete it. Uninstalling the app, or tapping "Delete local data" in Settings, removes it completely.
All payment processing (credit card details, etc.) is handled by Google Play. The app never receives your payment details.
No third party — including the developer — ever sees your location data. We do not use it for advertising or analytics.
If you enable Google Drive sync in Settings, your data is automatically backed up to an app-specific folder in your own Google Drive (useful when switching devices).
Separately, Android may also back up app data automatically depending on your device settings (you can turn this off on your device).
